Home mechanic maintaining small fleet of family's cars on a shoestring!

Having grown up in an age of make and mend do, I find myself still no richer and maintaining a long list of older cars that actually,
being a petrol head, give me great pleasure. The only difference nowadays, is that I also have my boys cars to maintain as well.
